Our Work

The Veterans Division serving veteran families through housing supports.

What is Adjoin Veterans?

Housing stability support focused on self-sufficiency and independence

We provide a multitude of services to more than 600 veterans and their families throughout Southern
California, because everyone deserves a place to call home, especially our veterans.

We work to create and provide housing access, community supports, and advocacy that is tailored to
each person as an individual, resulting in very person-centered support, not a standard service model or
prescribed service plan.

Work

Income Building Services

Adjoin Veterans meets clients where they are at, from assisting with disability or retirement benefits to advancing their career goals.

When veterans come to Adjoin, there is no requirement for income before receiving housing search services. Adjoin can provide disability application assistance, employment resource connection, budgeting assistance, and more while clients stabilize their living situation. Our team works collaboratively with veteran families to create a housing stability plan that can sustain the type of permanent housing they find.

Play

Don’t forget the fun!

Each veteran family housed receives a welcome home kit with the key essentials they need to turn a house into a home. We regularly host fundraisers, donation drives, and work with local businesses to provide toys and other essential items to help our veterans and their family members focus on what really matters: play!

While we work together with our veteran families to secure and maintain permanent housing, we also encourage taking time to play. Whether that be participating in the Veterans Day parade or our annual Day at the Bay team member appreciation, PLAY and fun are essential to our clients and team members’ well-being and success.
